Jessica Penner is a Registered Dietician living in Winnipeg, Canada. She discovered her love for food and helping others while traveling abroad and decided to combine those two by studying nutrition.

Having graduated at the top of her faculty at the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Human Nutritional Sciences, Jessica went on to complete a Dietetic Internship through the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority.

Through a process that focuses on honouring, respecting, and trusting the body, she helps people stop overeating and gain confidence in their food choices.

Since 2014 she\u2019s been posting everyday recipes, meal planning tips, and strategies to stop overeating at her blog Smart Nutrition. She is often quoted in the media, having been published in The Huffington Post, Shape, Reader\u2019s Digest, Livestrong, NBC News, and Prevention magazine.
